Taught high school for four years in the Granite School District before moving to the Boise area to pursue a second masters degree. Currently teaching tech classes in a junior high setting. Couldn't tell you which I enjoy more (high school vs junior high). Both have their strengths and weaknesses, but I love them both and still love what I do. No regrets.

I am currently working on my 5th year as a teacher at Hillcrest HS. I started out only teaching 4 periods of Multimedia and it has grown to 5 Multimedia classes, 1 3D animation class and I also do Yearbook for now the 3rd year in a row. Loving it, staying very buisy.

Warren...
I heard that you put in your app at the nampa school district. I've worked at skyview for 5 years and my friend, who happens to be one of the admin, mentioned that she saw an app from someone that grad from my same program, and she gave me your name. I gave a great reference, but I guess they found out you had accepted another position. If you ever need an insider in case you are looking for a high school position, let me know and I can bring your name up again. :)
Hope you are enjoying boise!

I am currently teaching at Pleasant Grove Jr high. I teach manufacturing in a metal shop and computer graphics. I am also pursuing a masters degree at BYU in administration. We are expecting our 5th - a girl - in February.

Nothing too exciting here....
I teach part-time adult education (high school completion and GED)for Weber district. This is my 4th year teaching adult ed. but my first for Weber. I started out teaching inmates at the county jail. Great experience-most days. Turned down a couple full-time jobs (including my dream job at a high school woodshop) for what life has given me as my full-time job - being a mom. I'm on the bandwagon, having girl number 2 on new years eve (or close to). Some of you may laugh - our first girl looked just like John, but she's so cute!! She's starting to gain a little more individuality. I miss the shop, but want to see my kids grow up. Maybe down the road someday....
