Sandon here,

After graduation I took a job teaching junior high school in Aberdeen, Washington. I loved that job because I had the entire shop to myself and I had my home-made curriculum down pat. I received my Masters degree in Technology in Education the year before my program was cut due to budget cuts and a very misguided principal. Well, my wife and 3 kids moved back to Utah and I went back to teaching at Kearns Junior High. I taught technology classes which involved electronics, woodworking, plastics, construction, etc. Well, I was only there for the second half of the year and I hate to say it but...I hated it. I just couldn't do it any more so it switched careers. Now I am a residential appraiser in Salt Lake and I travel everywhere from Logan to Springville and anywhere in between. I love teaching still and do miss it very much but...I felt like I had to take a different direction. I hope everyone else it doing well in whatever profession they are in now. Good luck.

Howdy from TN,

This is Amy, I live in TN and am very happy. I work at an elementary school as the computer teacher. At the end of this school year I will be done teaching for a time. I have enjoyed teaching the last nine years. After years of no success of having children, Asher and I are going to adopt. How can you help? Spread the word to everyone. We are very excited. Our lives are busy with work and church.

Hi everyone! I still live in Herriman Utah. I taught middle school the year after I graduated. I loved the kids--but they are so hormonal and flaky that I left after one year to teach more mature (sometimes) students at the high school. I'm at Riverton High in Riverton Utah. I have a full-time-plus-two extra-periods Woods program. I taught 1/2 Electronics (and 1/2 Woods) for a year and I actually liked it! (Thanks to Shum) Then my Woods program grew to a full program.
I earned my Master's Degree in Education last year so now I get the 'Big Bucks' (ha!)
This is my 8th year teaching. The best part is when graduated students return to say 'hi' and tell me I made a difference.
It blows my mind that I get paid to do something I love!
